Description
Juicy skirt steak kabobs are flavor-packed and versatile, perfect for any occasion, whether a family grill-out or an evening with friends.
Ingredients
- 1 lb skirt steak
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 1 bell pepper (cut into pieces)
- 1 onion (cut into wedges)
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create a flavorful marinade.
- Cut the skirt steak into bite-sized cubes. Add the cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow them to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or ideally overnight for maximum flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated steak pieces alternately with the bell peppers and onions onto the skewers.
- Grill the kabobs for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra tenderness, consider pounding the skirt steak lightly before marinating. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
