Description
Deliciously juicy ground turkey burgers, perfectly seasoned and easy to make, ideal for a lighter burger night.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, cheese (optional toppings)
Instructions
- Make the mixture. In a medium bowl, add the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix with your hands or a fork just until combined.
- Shape the patties. Divide into 4 equal portions and gently form patties about 1/4 inch thick. Press a shallow dimple into the center of each patty to help them cook evenly and stay flat.
- Heat the pan. Warm the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Cook. Add patties and cook 5-7 minutes per side, flipping once, until browned and cooked through to 165°F in the thickest part.
- Assemble and serve. Let patties rest for 2 minutes, then place on buns with lettuce, tomato, and cheese if using.
Notes
For the best texture, do not overmix or overcook the patties. Use a thermometer to ensure they reach the right internal temperature.
