Description

A crisp, fork-friendly bowl of flavor that brings the taste of a deli grinder without the soggy bread.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, sliced or chopped
  • 1/3 cup banana peppers or peperoncini, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped deli meat of choice
  • 1/2 cup cheese of choice
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon oregano


Instructions

  1. Mix the dressing first right in a large bowl.
  2. Prep the veggies by chopping lettuce, slicing onion, halving tomatoes, and chopping peppers.
  3. Add meats and cheese to the bowl to coat them in the dressing.
  4. Toss everything together and taste for salt, vinegar, and heat.
  5. Serve immediately for maximum crunch.
