Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter to prevent sticking.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes evenly in the dish.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the potatoes.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cheese, and seasonings.
- Pour the heavy cream evenly over the top layer.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
