These Indulgent Brownie Cookies bring together the rich, fudgy texture of brownies in a delightful cookie form, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 6 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 8 oz Dark Chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup White Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar, packed
- 2 Eggs, room temperature
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 cup Dutch-Process Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Flaky Sea Salt, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter and dark chocolate together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together white granulated sugar and light brown sugar with the melted chocolate mixture.
- Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, blending well after each addition.
- In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, Dutch-process cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving enough space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops are crackly.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle a little flaky sea salt on top. Allow them to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
