Description

Simple roasted chicken brightened with hot honey and salty feta, perfect for weeknight comfort or special guests.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 11.25 lb / 450570 g total)
  • 4 oz (about 115 g) feta cheese, crumbled
  • 34 tbsp hot honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked or sweet paprika


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Season both sides of each breast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Heat olive oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. Sear the chicken 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the skillet and sprinkle the crumbled feta over the chicken.
  7. Drizzle hot honey over the feta and chicken.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) at the thickest point.
  9. Let the chicken rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve over rice, polenta, or with a fresh salad for a complete meal. Adjust hot honey for spice preference.
