Description

A tender salmon fillet glistening with a sweet and savory honey soy glaze, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes, allowing the skin to crisp up.
  4. Carefully flip the salmon and pour the honey soy sauce mixture over the fillets.
  5. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, basting with the sauce until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve immediately.

Notes

Resting the salmon before serving allows the juices to redistribute for optimal flavor.
