Description
A tender salmon fillet glistening with a sweet and savory honey soy glaze, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes, allowing the skin to crisp up.
- Carefully flip the salmon and pour the honey soy sauce mixture over the fillets.
- Cook for another 3-4 minutes, basting with the sauce until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the skillet from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve immediately.
Notes
Resting the salmon before serving allows the juices to redistribute for optimal flavor.
