Description

A deliciously sweet and savory grilled chicken recipe marinated in honey, pineapple juice, and Italian dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders, breasts, or thighs
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice

Instructions

  1. Mix the marinade in a bowl by whisking together the Italian dressing, honey, and pineapple juice until fully blended.
  2. Marinate the chicken by placing it in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pouring the marinade over to coat well.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high and lightly oil the grates.
  5. Remove the chicken from marinade and let excess drip off, discarding marinade for food safety.
  6. Grill for about 6–7 minutes per side until nicely charred and fully cooked.
  7. Serve the chicken warm after letting it rest for a couple minutes.

Notes

For a less sweet finish, reduce honey if using very sweet pineapple juice.
