Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil and sear the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce and honey, combining well.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken is fully cooked.
Notes
For best results, let the chicken come to room temperature before cooking. You can substitute boneless, skinless thighs for juiciness or use tamari for a gluten-free option.
