Description
A delightful balance of sweet and savory flavors, perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken Breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Green Onions, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil until well combined.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts into the bowl, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).
- Heat the Pan: Place a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
- Cook the Chicken: Add the marinated chicken to the hot skillet. Cook for about 7-8 minutes on each side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Thicken the Sauce: Pour the remaining marinade into the pan, cooking until it reduces and thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve: Plate the chicken, drizzle the sauce on top, and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
Feel free to substitute chicken thighs or use tamari for a gluten-free version. Fresh garlic is recommended for the best flavor.
