Description

A flavorful and healthy dish that features salmon bathed in a sweet and savory honey garlic marinade, all baked in foil for a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Lay out a large piece of aluminum foil and place salmon fillets in the center.
  4. Drizzle the marinade over the salmon, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Fold the foil over the salmon, creating a sealed packet to keep moisture in.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Carefully unwrap the foil and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate salmon for at least 30 minutes or overnight. Ensure the foil is tightly sealed to keep juices inside.
