Ingredients
- 2 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- ¼ cup raw honey
- ½ cup whole milk or heavy cream
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Peel and chop sweet potatoes into even chunks. Place them in a pot with cold water.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook for 15–20 minutes until fork-tender. Drain well.
- Return sweet potatoes to the pot and mash until smooth.
- Stir in butter and honey while warm so they melt beautifully into the mash.
- Gradually mix in milk or cream until creamy. Season with salt and cinnamon.
- Check sweetness and seasoning, adjusting if needed before serving.
