Deliciously sweet honey butter glazed carrots, perfect for any meal, balancing sweetness with savory goodness.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Carrots (peeled and cut into sticks)
- 3 tbsp Butter (melted)
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 1/2 tsp Salt (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Peel the carrots and cut them into uniform sticks. Pat them dry with paper towels, then arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the honey butter mixture over the carrots and toss them until they’re evenly coated. Spread the carrots back into a single layer.
- Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the carrots are tender and caramelized.
- Remove the tray from the oven and let the carrots rest for 2 minutes. Transfer them to a serving dish, then drizzle with any remaining glaze. Garnish with fresh parsley and sprinkle Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with olive oil or vegan butter. Feel free to adjust salt and pepper according to your taste.
