Description

Deliciously sweet honey butter glazed carrots, perfect for any meal, balancing sweetness with savory goodness.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Carrots (peeled and cut into sticks)
  • 3 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Peel the carrots and cut them into uniform sticks. Pat them dry with paper towels, then arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour the honey butter mixture over the carrots and toss them until they’re evenly coated. Spread the carrots back into a single layer.
  5. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the carrots are tender and caramelized.
  6. Remove the tray from the oven and let the carrots rest for 2 minutes. Transfer them to a serving dish, then drizzle with any remaining glaze. Garnish with fresh parsley and sprinkle Parmesan cheese if desired.
  7. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with olive oil or vegan butter. Feel free to adjust salt and pepper according to your taste.
