Description
Delicious honey BBQ meatballs that are tender and flavorful, dressed in a sweet and savory sticky sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, onion, and garlic powder. Mix well until integrated.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
- While the meatballs bake, prepare the honey BBQ sauce by combining barbecue sauce, honey, and soy sauce in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat until it simmers, then remove from heat.
- Transfer the baked meatballs to a serving dish and pour the honey BBQ sauce over the top, ensuring each meatball is coated. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
