Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Cut and scoop the avocados, discarding the pits and transferring the flesh to a mixing bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork, adding lime juice and salt to taste.
- Mix in the diced onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and ground cumin.
- Season to taste, adjusting flavors and adding cayenne if desired.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a side dish for tacos.
Notes
Store leftover guacamole in an airtight container and press plastic wrap against the surface to minimize browning.
