A vibrant and creamy dip made with ripe avocados, perfect for parties or cozy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut and scoop the avocados, discarding the pits and transferring the flesh to a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork, adding lime juice and salt to taste.
  3. Mix in the diced onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and ground cumin.
  4. Season to taste, adjusting flavors and adding cayenne if desired.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a side dish for tacos.

Notes

Store leftover guacamole in an airtight container and press plastic wrap against the surface to minimize browning.
