Ingredients

  • 1 cup olive oil (extra-virgin for brightest flavor)
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour 1 cup olive oil and 1/2 cup red wine vinegar into a medium bowl or a clean jar.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. If using, stir in 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard and 1 teaspoon honey.
  4. Whisk vigorously for 30–60 seconds until blended and slightly thickened.
  5. Taste and adjust salt, sugar, or vinegar if needed.
