Description

A creamy and flavorful homemade guacamole perfect for any occasion, made with ripe avocados and fresh ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 medium fresh tomato, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onions, diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half. Remove the pit and scoop the flesh into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Use a fork or a potato masher to mash the avocado to your desired creaminess.
  3. Dice the tomatoes, jalapeño, and red onions, and add them into the bowl.
  4. Squeeze the lime juice generously over the mixture for a zesty flavor, then fold in the chopped cilantro.
  5. Season with salt to taste; don’t be shy!
  6. Gently mix everything together until it’s well combined, leaving some avocado chunks for that delightful texture.

Notes

Store any unused guacamole in an airtight container and press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to prevent browning. Refrigerate for up to two days.
