Description

A simple, fresh, and delicious guacamole recipe that’s perfect for chips, tacos, or as a quick snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (adjust to taste)
  • Juice of 1 lime


Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half. Remove the pit and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork until you reach your desired consistency—smooth or chunky, it’s your choice!
  3. Finely chop the cilantro, onion, and garlic. Add these to the bowl.
  4. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  5. Mix everything together until well combined and evenly textured.
  6. Serve fresh with tortilla chips, veggies, or as a topping for your favorite dishes.

Notes

If you’re not a fan of cilantro, you can leave it out or replace it with fresh parsley. For an extra kick, consider adding diced jalapeño.
