Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (adjust to taste)
- Juice of 1 lime
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half. Remove the pit and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork until you reach your desired consistency—smooth or chunky, it’s your choice!
- Finely chop the cilantro, onion, and garlic. Add these to the bowl.
- Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Mix everything together until well combined and evenly textured.
- Serve fresh with tortilla chips, veggies, or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
Notes
If you’re not a fan of cilantro, you can leave it out or replace it with fresh parsley. For an extra kick, consider adding diced jalapeño.
