Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 1/2 small red onion (finely diced)
- 1 small tomato (diced)
- 1/4 cup cilantro (finely chopped)
- Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
- Fine sea salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half and carefully remove the pits.
- Scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl and mash until you reach your desired consistency.
- Add in the lime juice, red onion, tomato, cilantro, and cayenne pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
- Season with fine sea salt to taste and enjoy immediately, or store for later!
Notes
Guacamole is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to minimize air exposure, then seal.
