Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or melting chocolate
- Optional toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries: Wash the strawberries thoroughly and remove the green tops. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
- Blend the yogurt: In a mixing bowl, add the Greek yogurt. If desired, sweeten with honey or maple syrup and stir until well combined.
- Assemble the popsicles: Insert a wooden stick into each strawberry. Dip them first into the yogurt mixture, coating them generously.
- Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Dip in chocolate: Once the strawberries are coated with yogurt, dip them into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Add toppings: If you prefer, roll or sprinkle some crushed nuts, coconut, or your favorite toppings while the chocolate is still warm.
- Freeze: Place the prepared strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 120 minutes or until firm.
