Description
This high protein buffalo chicken dip is creamy, flavorful, and healthier than traditional recipes, featuring Greek yogurt and a blend of cheeses for a delicious game day snack.
Ingredients
- 2-3 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped or shredded (or 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded)
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided (½ cup mixed in, ½ cup for topping)
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- ½ cup buffalo sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F while preparing the ingredients.
- Add chicken, Greek yogurt, cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, ½ cup of cheddar cheese, and buffalo sauce to a large baking dish. Stir together until well combined.
- Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese across the top of the dip and add extra cheese if desired.
- Bake in the oven for approximately 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and optionally garnish with sliced green onions or drizzle with additional buffalo sauce. Serve hot with dippers.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Can be reheated in the microwave or oven.
