Description

This high protein buffalo chicken dip is creamy, flavorful, and healthier than traditional recipes, featuring Greek yogurt and a blend of cheeses for a delicious game day snack.


Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped or shredded (or 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided (½ cup mixed in, ½ cup for topping)
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F while preparing the ingredients.
  2. Add chicken, Greek yogurt, cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, ½ cup of cheddar cheese, and buffalo sauce to a large baking dish. Stir together until well combined.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese across the top of the dip and add extra cheese if desired.
  4. Bake in the oven for approximately 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  5. Remove from the oven and optionally garnish with sliced green onions or drizzle with additional buffalo sauce. Serve hot with dippers.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Can be reheated in the microwave or oven.
