Description

Quick and healthy banana donut holes, air-fried for a delicious treat.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup ripe banana (about 1 large banana)
  • ¾ cup self-rising flour
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unrefined sugar (or Monk Fruit Blend for sugar-free)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
  • 2-3 teaspoons melted coconut oil (for kneading)

Instructions

  1. Mash the banana into a smooth puree, ensuring you get ½ cup.
  2. Add the self-rising flour and mix with a rubber spatula until dough forms lumps.
  3. Oil your hands and knead the dough until it forms a sticky ball, adding extra flour if too wet.
  4. Lightly grease your hands and roll tablespoons of dough into balls, placing them on a parchment-lined plate.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (180°C). Spray basket with oil and place donut holes inside, leaving space between.
  6. Air fry for 6–7 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Brush each donut hole with melted coconut oil and roll in cinnamon sugar.
  8. Serve immediately for a warm and delicious snack.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Substitute self-rising flour with a gluten-free blend, adding baking powder if needed. Add vanilla extract for extra flavor.
