Ingredients
- 1 lb onions (red or yellow)
- 1 tbsp oil of choice
- Pinch of salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Slice onions into thin rings. Toss with oil, salt, and pepper.
- Cook in air fryer at 300°F for 10 minutes, stirring halfway.
- Reduce heat to 240°F and cook for an additional 15–20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- Use warm on dishes or let cool and store for later.
Notes
For lighter flavor, use sweet onions. For bolder taste, opt for red onions. Spread onions in a thin, even layer in the basket to avoid overcrowding.
