Description
A simple and flavorful Hawaiian grilled chicken marinated in a soy-lime sauce, topped with caramelized pineapple.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the grill.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and let sit for about 10 minutes.
- Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 5–7 minutes per side, until fully cooked.
- Add pineapple slices to the grill during the last few minutes of cooking.
- Let the chicken rest for 3–5 minutes, then top with grilled pineapple and garnish with green onions.
