Description
A perfect blend of juicy steak, tender shrimp, and colorful vegetables grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of beef steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 pound of large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 red bell pepper (cut into squares)
- 1 green bell pepper (cut into squares)
- 1 onion (cut into squares)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Soak the skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
- Make the marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Prepare the steak: Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and add them to the marinade. Make sure they’re well-coated.
- Marinate the steak: Allow the steak to marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes for maximum flavor.
- Assemble the kabobs: Thread the marinated steak, shrimp, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers in an alternating pattern.
- Preheat the grill: Aim for medium-high heat to get that perfect sear.
- Grill the kabobs: Cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Serve and enjoy: Plate your kabobs hot and savor the flavors!
Notes
Leftover kabobs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze them wrapped in plastic wrap.
