Description

A perfect blend of juicy steak, tender shrimp, and colorful vegetables grilled to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound of beef steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 pound of large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 red bell pepper (cut into squares)
  • 1 green bell pepper (cut into squares)
  • 1 onion (cut into squares)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)


Instructions

  1. Soak the skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
  2. Make the marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Prepare the steak: Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and add them to the marinade. Make sure they’re well-coated.
  4. Marinate the steak: Allow the steak to marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes for maximum flavor.
  5. Assemble the kabobs: Thread the marinated steak, shrimp, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers in an alternating pattern.
  6. Preheat the grill: Aim for medium-high heat to get that perfect sear.
  7. Grill the kabobs: Cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Notes

Leftover kabobs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze them wrapped in plastic wrap.
