Description

This Grilled Garlic and Herb Shrimp recipe offers a quick, elegant option for busy weeknights or a perfect starter for gatherings, combining the flavors of garlic and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, basil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat thoroughly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, making sure they are evenly spaced.
  5. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn opaque and are fully cooked.
  6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Don’t skip the marinating step for enhanced flavor. You can use a grill pan if you don’t have an outdoor grill.
