Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano in a medium bowl to make the marinade.
- Marinate the chicken by placing it in a resealable plastic bag, pouring the marinade over, sealing, and refrigerating for at least 30 minutes and up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high, cleaning and oiling the grates.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off and discarding the marinade.
- Grill the chicken on the hot grill for 6–7 minutes on the first side, then flip and grill for another 6–7 minutes.
- Cook until the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) using an instant-read thermometer.
- Rest the chicken on a plate for 3–5 minutes before serving or slicing.
