Juicy and flavorful grilled chicken thighs with a sticky BBQ sauce finish, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken thighs (boneless or bone-in)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Mix the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl until it forms a loose paste.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and rub the seasoning mixture all over each thigh.
- Place the thighs on the grill and cook for about 6–7 minutes per side, with the lid closed when possible.
- Brush the thighs with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Remove from the grill and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Sauce can burn if applied too early, so always add it in the final minutes of grilling.
