Description
A lighter, protein-packed version of classic ranch dressing made with Greek yogurt, perfect for salads, veggie dips, or snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat, 2% or nonfat)
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried dill (or 1 tablespoon fresh dill)
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley)
- 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or white vinegar)
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (or buttermilk)
Instructions
- Spoon the Greek yogurt into a medium bowl and add the mayonnaise.
- Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper over the yogurt.
- Pour in the lemon juice and stir vigorously until smooth.
- Add 1 tablespoon of milk and whisk again. Check the consistency and add more if needed.
- Taste and adjust with more salt, lemon juice, or a pinch of sugar if necessary.
- Let the dressing rest in the fridge for 15–30 minutes to enhance flavor before serving.
Notes
For a vegan option, swap Greek yogurt for unsweetened dairy-free yogurt and use vegan mayo. Fresh herbs can give a brighter taste; use about three times the amount of fresh compared to dried.
