Description

Delicious glazed chicken skewers perfect for cookouts, game days, or quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • Freshly cracked pepper, to taste
  • Wooden or metal skewers (soaked if wooden)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Marinate the chicken: Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor).
  3. Preheat the grill: Heat your grill to medium-high.
  4. Assemble the skewers: Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Grill: Place skewers on the grill. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Garnish and serve: Once cooked, remove from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegetarian option, swap chicken for firm tofu, mushrooms, or bell peppers. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
