Ingredients
- 1 pound ribeye steak (cut into 1-inch pieces, trimmed of excess fat)
- Kosher salt and ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2-3 tablespoons butter (or ghee/plant-based butter)
- 2-3 teaspoons garlic (minced)
- Fresh parsley (roughly chopped for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by cutting the steak into 1-inch cubes and pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and then add steak pieces, searing them for 30-60 seconds per side.
- Remove the seared steak bites and set aside on a plate.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the same skillet, allowing the butter to melt and garlic to become fragrant.
- Return the seared steak bites to the skillet, tossing everything together until desired doneness is reached.
- Serve as is or with a side of rice and sautéed zucchini.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to two months. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat.
