Description
A delicious, easy-to-make one-skillet dinner with juicy steak bites, golden Yukon potatoes, and a rich garlic herb butter coating.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 2 tablespoons garlic herb butter (or regular butter with garlic and herbs)
- 1 pound Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1 teaspoon pepper, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and garlic butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the Yukon Gold potatoes and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and fork-tender.
- Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Push the potatoes aside or remove them from the skillet. Add more olive oil and garlic butter, then sear the steak bites for 3–4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Add the cooked potatoes back into the skillet and toss everything in the remaining garlic butter until coated.
Notes
Ensure your skillet is preheated for a perfect sear. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3–4 days.
