Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound large shrimp (16-20 count size recommended), peeled and deveined
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2-3 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Melt the butter: Place the butter in a large skillet and melt over medium-high heat.
  2. Season and add shrimp: Add the shrimp to the melted butter and season generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cook the shrimp: Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque throughout.
  4. Add the garlic: Once the shrimp are nearly done, add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for one more minute.
  5. Finish with brightness: Stir in the fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley.
