  • 4 tilapia fillets (fresh or frozen, thawed)

  • Pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and drizzle with olive oil; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange the tilapia in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Mix in the lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, paprika, and Parmesan cheese. Let simmer for a minute.
