Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
