Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Ice cream (vanilla or mango) for serving
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
- Place the banana halves cut side down in the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Carefully flip the bananas and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve the fried bananas warm, drizzled with the cinnamon butter sauce and a scoop of ice cream on top.
Notes
Use unsalted butter for more control over the sweetness, and slightly freckled bananas yield the best texture.
