Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup caramelized onions (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and arrange them on a baking sheet.
