Description
A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon infused with zesty lemon and aromatic garlic, cooked in the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest to prepare the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Allow them to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) while the salmon marinates.
- After marinating, sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the salmon.
- Place the fillets in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon easily flakes with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Pat the salmon dry before marinating to help the marinade adhere better. Adding a pinch of red pepper flakes can give a spicy kick.
