Description

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk (almond or oat milk can be used as a substitute)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Maple syrup for serving


Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Mix in the milk, egg, and melted butter into the bowl with the mashed bananas.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Do not over-mix.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour in batter for each pancake, cooking until bubbles form. Flip and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top.
