Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Corn or flour tortillas (8-10)
- Fresh toppings (diced onions, chopped cilantro, sliced avocado, lime wedges, salsa)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts, ensuring they’re well coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill: Heat your grill to medium-high.
- Grill the chicken: Place the marinated chicken on the grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Rest and slice: Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice the chicken into thin strips.
- Warm the tortillas: While the chicken rests, quickly warm your tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
