Description

A luxurious dish combining tender filet mignon with succulent shrimp and a creamy lobster sauce, perfect for special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 filet mignon steaks
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Season the filet mignon steaks generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is reached.
  4. Remove the steaks and let them rest on a plate.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Incorporate the shrimp and lobster meat, cooking until the shrimp turns pink.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and allow it to simmer until the sauce thickens appropriately.
  8. Stir in chopped parsley and season with additional salt and pepper as desired.
  9. Serve the filet mignon topped with the shrimp and lobster cream sauce.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a splash of white wine to the sauce. Use fresh herbs for enhanced flavor.
