Ingredients
- 2 filet mignon steaks
- 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the filet mignon steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is reached.
- Remove the steaks and let them rest on a plate.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Incorporate the shrimp and lobster meat, cooking until the shrimp turns pink.
- Pour in heavy cream and allow it to simmer until the sauce thickens appropriately.
- Stir in chopped parsley and season with additional salt and pepper as desired.
- Serve the filet mignon topped with the shrimp and lobster cream sauce.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a splash of white wine to the sauce. Use fresh herbs for enhanced flavor.
