Description

Indulge in tender, juicy ribs that fall off the bone, covered in a smoky dry rub and rich barbecue sauce, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back ribs (membrane removed)
  • 2 Tbs paprika
  • 1 Tbs black pepper
  • 3 Tbs brown sugar
  • 2 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar BBQ sauce
  • 2-3 Tbs honey
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Lay your ribs on a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  3. Mix together the dry rub ingredients, then liberally rub the mixture over both sides of the ribs.
  4. Wrap the ribs tightly in the foil and place them on a large baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the oven for 180 minutes or until the meat is tender.
  6. Remove from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil.
  7. Mix the BBQ sauce and honey together, then brush this mixture over the ribs.
  8. Place the ribs back in the oven on the lowest rack and broil for about 3-5 minutes until caramelized.
  9. Remove and brush with more BBQ sauce if desired.
  10. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Customize the spices according to your taste preferences. Let the ribs rest after baking for maximum tenderness.
