Description

Enjoy a delicious seafood experience with this easy grilled shrimp recipe, perfect for summer barbecues and quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Marinate the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them sit for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the Grill: While the shrimp marinates, preheat your grill to high heat.
  4. Skewer the Shrimp: Thread the shrimp onto skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes).
  5. Grill the Shrimp: Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. Serve: Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Shrimp cooks very quickly, don’t overcook. Allow them to rest for a couple of minutes after grilling to lock in juices.
