Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 hoagie rolls
- Sliced provolone cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by placing the beef roast in the crock pot.
- Top the roast with the sliced onion and minced garlic.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low for about 480 minutes, or until the meat is perfectly tender.
- Remove the roast from the pot, shred the meat using two forks, and return it to the pot to soak up those delicious juices.
- Serve the tender meat on sliced hoagie rolls, topped with provolone cheese if desired.
Notes
For added flavor, sear the beef roast on all sides before placing it in the crock pot.
