Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl until well combined.
  2. Season the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the salmon, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Carefully flip the salmon and pour the honey garlic mixture over the fillets.
  6. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, basting the salmon with the glaze until it’s cooked through.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
