Description

A Crunchy Twist on Taco Night that combines all the flavors of traditional tacos with a vibrant salad twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Doritos
  • 2 cups of crisp lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup of tomatoes, diced
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of salsa (optional)


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and add the taco seasoning according to the packet’s instructions.
  2. Combine the chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, seasoned beef, and shredded cheddar cheese in a large bowl.
  3. Crush the Doritos and sprinkle them generously on top of the salad just before serving.
  4. Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side, allowing everyone to add their favorites!

Notes

Consider using lean ground turkey for a healthier option. Swap out regular Doritos for a spicy or flavored version for an extra kick!
