Description

A timeless and easy recipe for deviled eggs, perfect for gatherings or as a simple snack.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a pot filled with cold water. Bring the water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, cover the pot and let the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Carefully transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool them quickly.
  4. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice each in half lengthwise.
  5. Gently remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  6. Mash the yolks and combine with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  7. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  8. Finally, sprinkle with paprika for a touch of flair before serving.

Notes

Consider substituting mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a healthier twist. For extra flavor, add hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
