Description

A cute and festive vanilla bean milkshake that’s a delightful treat for any celebration, featuring real vanilla specks and a delicious cookie rim.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups (approx. 450 g) premium vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup (120180 ml) whole milk
  • 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
  • 12 tbsp heavy cream or half-and-half (optional)
  • 12 tbsp simple syrup or granulated sugar (optional)
  • Pinch of fine sea salt
  • Whipped cream, festive sprinkles, crushed cookies, or mini marshmallows for garnish
  • Optional: small cookie or sugar rim


Instructions

  1. Chill two serving glasses in the freezer for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the vanilla: split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape the seeds.
  3. Add the ice cream, 1/2 cup milk, vanilla seeds, heavy cream, simple syrup, and salt to the blender.
  4. Pulse once to break up ice cream, then blend on medium-high for 15–30 seconds until smooth.
  5. Check the consistency and flavor, adding more milk or sweetener as needed.
  6. Pour into chilled glasses, then top with whipped cream and garnish items.

Notes
