Description
A sweet and savory dinner featuring juicy chicken, flavorful teriyaki sauce, and crisp broccoli, all cooked effortlessly in a crockpot.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup broccoli florets
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the top, ensuring the chicken is evenly coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or on high for 180 minutes (3 hours).
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets and stir gently to combine.
- Shred or slice the chicken and serve it with sauce and broccoli over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
Use frozen broccoli directly without thawing. For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and stir into the crockpot during the last 10 minutes. To make it sweeter, add 1 tablespoon of honey or brown sugar to the sauce before cooking.
