Description

A sweet and savory dinner featuring juicy chicken, flavorful teriyaki sauce, and crisp broccoli, all cooked effortlessly in a crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the top, ensuring the chicken is evenly coated.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or on high for 180 minutes (3 hours).
  3. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets and stir gently to combine.
  4. Shred or slice the chicken and serve it with sauce and broccoli over steamed rice or noodles.

Notes

Use frozen broccoli directly without thawing. For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and stir into the crockpot during the last 10 minutes. To make it sweeter, add 1 tablespoon of honey or brown sugar to the sauce before cooking.
