Description

This easy Crockpot Chicken & Gravy recipe uses just three simple ingredients, making it the perfect weeknight meal. Tender chicken slowly cooks in a flavorful gravy mix and cream of chicken soup.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can of unsalted cream of chicken soup
  • 2 (0.87 oz) envelopes of chicken gravy mix
  • ½ cup water or chicken broth (optional)
  • Hot steamed rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, and water (if using). Pour this mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and is fully cooked.
  4. Once the chicken is done, shred it using two forks right in the slow cooker. Serve over hot steamed rice.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop, adding a splash of water or broth if too thick.
